Cork floors come in two varieties: rigid HDF-based, similar to laminate, and  flexible.  Rigid base collections are distinguished by the presence of a click system lock for quick laying on the substrate ("floating" method). Collections of flexible cork are laid on the base only with full bonding.

The cork parquet surface is factory protected with varnish or oil,  what makes this look  floors ready for use immediately after laying without additional work and materials.
